Selected “Time-honored company” as the first leading electronics display company. In May, the Ministry of Small and Medium Venture Business and the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business selected four "Time-honored Companies" through an assessment of job creation, sincere payment, compliance with regulations, R&D cost rate, and social contribution for small and medium-sized businesses that have been going on for more than 45 years. Samik Electronics was established in 1969 as the nation's first electronic display company, and has contributed to the success of the competition through the production and operation of electronic display boards in major international events such as the 86 Asian Games, 88 Seoul Olympics and World Cup, Asian Games, Expo, also was selected as the first stock market signboard, train navigation system, and special contributions for display industry.
