‘Samik Electronics Ind. Co., Ltd.’ (hereinafter as the ‘company’) respects customer’s personal information and abides by / the Act on Promotion of Information Network Usage and Information Protection /.

The company informs you of how your personal information provided is used with the personal information policy and the measures taken to protect your personal information.

The company will notify you with the website announcement for individual notification in case of revising the personal information protection policy.

The company collects the following personal information for membership registration, counseling and service application.

ο Items collected :  Name, home phone number, home address, cell phone number, email, company name, department, title and company phone number

■ Collection and use of personal information

The company uses the collected personal information for the following purposes.

ο Execution of contract, contents and fee on service provided

ο Membership management

Identification, prevention of illegal use from member, prevention of unauthorized use, confirmation of registration and complaint handling

■ Retention of personal information and period

Once the purpose of collecting and using personal information is achieved, the company immediately terminate the information with no exception.

■ Procedures and methods of personal information

The company terminates any of collected personal information with no exception.

ο Termination procedures

The information entered for registering the membership is transferred to a separate Data Base after the purpose itself is achieved (Document box in case of paper), and it is terminated according to the internal policy and other relevant regulations (Refer to the retention and usable period) after certain period of time

Personal information transferred to a separate Data Base will not be used for any other purpose other than required by law.

ο Termination methods

- Personal information saved as the form of electronic files is deleted by using a technical method that cannot be played.

■ Provision of personal information

The company does not provide any user’s personal information to the outside. However, the exceptions as follow.

- Users have agreed in advance.

- If the information stored is requested by the regulations of law and investigating agency in accordance with procedures and methods for the purpose of investigation.

■ Consignment of collected personal information

The company does not give out your personal information to external companies without your consent. We will notify and ask your prior consent if necessary.

■ Rights of user or legal representative and a way of exercising them

User or legal representative is able to check and modify personal information of yourself and children under age of 14 at any time, and is able to ask for termination of your registration

Or, if you directly contact the person in charge of personal information by phone or email, we will take immediate action.

If you request correction of errors in your personal information, we do not use or provide your personal information until done. If wrong personal information is already provided to a third party, we will immediately notify the third party the result of correction

Personal information that has been deleted or terminated by the request of user  or legal representative is processed in accordance with the specified in the “retention and usable period of collected personal information” and is prohibited from being viewed and used for any other purposes
